Q – WHY WOULD I WANT TO CARRY A CLEAR LAPTOP BAG?

A – It is not the clear that makes the S1 Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bag - it is the design that enables you to open the laptop bag and backpack so they can lie flat on the scanner. Your laptop is secure in a fully padded compartment. S1 followed all Federal TSA guidelines to meet all requirements so travelers no longer need to remove their laptop from the bag when going through security at the airport. The clear features that are the signature of S1 merely enhance the checkpoint friendliness of the other parts of the bag.

Q – WHY ARE ALL S1 BAGS CLEAR?

A – In response to the violence in our schools over 35 states now have schools that require students carry clear bags or no bags into the buildings. S1 began with the mission to keep our educational environment safe by offering the finest line of clear bags and backpacks on the market. Safety has now become one of our nation's main concerns in airports, sports arena's, corporate offices and other places where security has to monitor large groups of people. The S1 line continues to grow and develop new clear bags to address all of these needs.

Q - HOW DURABLE ARE THE S1 BAGS?

A - The S1 bags are constructed of a 20 gauge, .05mm PVC vinyl. The handles and straps are sewn into the fabric-lined seams for added strength and durability.

Q – WHAT DOES ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED MEAN?

A – Ergonomically designed means they are healthy for the body. In designing our product, I talked with different Chiropractors and they recommend that backpacks either have lumbar support or a waist belt to evenly distribute the weight of the materials inside. With our extra padded curved straps and waist belt, the bags fit more securely and are more comfortable to use.

Q – WILL THE S1 BAGS STAND UP AGAINST THE WEATHER?

A - The S1 bags are temperature resistant to 30 degrees below and 150 degrees above zero and are UV treated against fading in the sunlight. The vinyl materials also make them water resistant.

Q – CAN S1 BAGS BE PERSONALIZED FOR DIFFERENT GROUPS?

A – Yes, S1 bags can be imprinted with a one-color logo, mascot, or other design using our bags currently in stock. The process is the same method as silk-screening a shirt. More than a one-color imprint requires a special order – and then we can even tint the material so it remains clear with a touch of color, change the straps to match the custom design and can imprint the bag in different locations in full color.

Q - DO YOU FIND THAT VENUES OTHER THAN SCHOOLS ARE INTERESTED IN THE BAGS?

A – Yes, more and more workplaces are requiring employees to carry clear bags in order to cut down on time spent at security checkpoints. Correctional facility officers and workers, postal employees and casino personnel and retail sales people are required to carry clear bags to work and as security issues escalate, more and more workplaces will follow suit. Airports are likely to follow, not only for personnel but eventually passengers as well.

Q – WHAT ABOUT THE SECURITY RESTRICTIONS AT STADIUMS AND ARENAS?

A – Security at ballparks and stadiums permit the use of clear backpacks at the games. Our mini backpack is the perfect size and will carry all your personal belongings safely into the arena.

Q – WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY ISSUES?

A- What is more invasive – having your bag searched and emptied or carrying a bag that allows security a clear view of the contents and if anything suspicious-looking is inside, they can ask you to remove it. In all honesty, in a public place should you actually have anything inside your bag that you need to hide? As a woman I have personal items that I would carry in a separate small bag no matter what type of bag I am carrying, clear or not.

Q – WHY DO YOU CARRY WHEELCHAIR BAGS?

A – S1 began with the mission to fill the need as more and more schools began to require students carry clear bags or no bags and since education in the US has taken the stance of “No child left behind” S1 wanted to provide students with mobility issues the same quality product as everyone else. We will continue to expand our line to address people with special needs.

Q – DO THE S1 BAGS CARRY A WARRANTY?

A – Yes, all S1 bags carry a 3 year limited warranty against manufacturers defects.

Q – HOW DOES S1 ASSIST SCHOOLS AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT GROUPS RAISE FUNDS?

A – Schools and NFP groups take orders for our bags at the retail prices and then S1 will Give Back 100% of the retail profit to assist with their fund raising efforts.

Q – WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL WITH S1?

A – If S1 can keep one gun out of one school, then we have done our job. We intend to expand our line to address each and every safety issue by providing the finest quality clear bags on the market to fit every need.
